About Quarley

The parish of Quarley is situated on the Wiltshire border to the South West of Andover, between the parishes of Amport in the North and Grateley in the South. The soil is light and chalky in this rural area, and supports arable crops and grazing for cattle. The village of Quarley lies towards the north-east corner of the parish, and Quarley Hill to the south-west rises to a height of 561 feet.

Quarley is still a small village, although a few new houses have been built over the last few years, but it remains fairly quiet and unspoiled, with a great community spirit.
